The kids' club is a great addition for family activities. On the downside, our room had a musty smell and the check-in process was slow. They offer bicycle rentals which is convenient for exploring the area.

The kids' club has fun activities that kept my children busy. The room service was slow and confusing. Parking was easy.

The room was small, leaving little space to move around comfortably. I appreciated the air conditioning; it worked exceptionally well. The bed was comfortable, which aided my rest. the shower was even smaller, making it a tight squeeze. I opted for a balcony room, but the obstructed view by a large white tent was disappointing and not worth the extra cost. Noise from the cheerleading convention next door was overwhelming at times, and my request for extra towels was not honored upon check-in. The absence of a microwave and blankets in the closet was also inconvenient.

Reserved a king bed with a poolside view, but ended up with a double due to others’ direct reservations. Stagnant sewer water in the vanity and a long wait for a room change added frustration. The breakfast and spa were highlights, as was the fantastic view from the room. Valet staff, especially Randy, were exceptional. Despite beautiful surroundings and activities, the pricing felt steep with exorbitant fees and closed amenities. The small pool with a swim-up bar was chaotic and uncomfortable. Ultimately, the experience didn’t match the cost; a letdown for a family getaway.

fantastic atmosphere, fantastic environment with a beautifully decorated bar that complements the seasonal changes and plenty of comfortable sitting areas perfect for gathering with friends and family.
Not one thing.

Great pools and free wi-fi. Room felt outdated and could use some repair.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the kids' pool area and the free breakfast every morning.
It wasn’t cheap but still worth it.

Beautiful property with clean surroundings. The lobby exudes sophistication, and our hotel room was spacious and newly updated. The view of the bay was a highlight, and the staff delivered exceptional service—friendly and attentive. the dining options left much to be desired. The room experience faltered; air conditioning inconsistencies plagued our night, and plumbing sounds disrupted our sleep. We faced hot water issues, and the breakfast buffet was overpriced with lackluster food. Noise from nearby events and thin walls diminished our comfort. There are certainly appealing attractions close by, but the hotel management needs to address these operational flaws.

Enjoyed the exciting shows, beautiful views of the bayou, and fun summer fireworks. Loved the unique European Bee Colony and leafcutter ant exhibit, circus performances with acrobats and cats, and Festival of Lights trail.
Saw some unconventional wildlife - big roaches by the outdoor games. .

The location is spot-on for exploring. The staff at the front desk is super friendly and helpful, like having a personal cheerleader.
The bar service could use a little more urgency.

The plumbing was ridiculously noisy; there was this constant low moan like a pump, and the toilets sounded like engines starting. It made relaxing nearly impossible with all that racket.

I loved the spacious room with a stunning bay view! The spa facilities were top-notch, especially the heated pool and relaxing massages. The staff was so friendly and made our stay feel extra special!
Would be happy to recommend! 😊❤️

This hotel is super close to so many attractions, like Moody Gardens which is just about 70 meters away, and the Rainforest Pyramid only about 500 meters down the road, making it so easy to explore everything on foot and soak in the atmosphere; plus, the beautiful views of the bay from our room added a lovely touch to our weekend. The amenities were decent, with comfortable beds and a nice little fish pond in the lobby, but the overall facility is tired and needs a bit of an upgrade.

Moody Gardens Hotel offers a fun environment for families, with plenty of activities to keep kids entertained. the rooms show wear, with issues like cleanliness and dated furnishings. If you plan on overnighting, aim for a lower rate, as the overall experience doesn't justify higher prices.

The hotel was like a mini city , water park, zoo, and even a convention center! The Wi, Fi kept us connected for post, pool selfies!
If only there was a cooler poolside vibe for us young peeps , maybe some DJ beats pumping or a pool party event would've taken our vacay to the next level! .

The rooms were dated and in need of a serious upgrade. The tub/shower combo in our room had rusty spots and peeling coating, which was not pleasant. the air conditioning in the room was covered in mildew, giving off a horrible smell. It was concerning that the cleaning lady proposed using toxic sprays around my three, year, old. the pool was nice, and the proximity to Moody Gardens was convenient. the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms left much to be desired. The lack of attention to detail, like dirty sheets and bedbugs in the bed, was unacceptable. Dealing with rude staff and being overcharged for subpar accommodations only added to the disappointment. The facilities also fell short in terms of amenities. There were issues with noisy plumbing, thin walls, and overall confusion among the staff. The lack of proper cleaning, functioning amenities like ice machines and mini, fridges, and general maintenance made our stay less than enjoyable. while there were some positives like friendly staff and a good pool area, the overall experience at Moody Gardens was marred by cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, and a lack of attention to guest comfort.

The pool was super nice and easily accessible, offering long hours for relaxation. Despite some drawbacks with the outdoor pool not being heated, I had a great stay. I'll recommend this hotel.

Had a blast at the beachy vibe resort with palm trees and killer amenities. The hotel's close to attractions like Schlitterbahn with reduced ticket rates , a real steal. The Cafe served up top-notch food, and the gym was clean and fully loaded.
Rooms felt old and mattresses were saggy. Not cool to find hair in the bathtub upon arrival.

At the huge resort with pyramids, families can enjoy exciting attractions as if escaping to a mini jungle and underwater wonderland. The kids had a blast at the water park, zoo, and aquarium, while my wife and I relaxed at the nearby Moody Gardens Golf Course.
My children wanted more kid-friendly food options at the on-site dining areas.

great amenities, comfortable rooms, and a stunning view of the bay. the staff, especially jesus at cafe in the park and the ticket kiosk attendant at the rainforest pyramid, were incredibly helpful. the inclusive services like parking and wifi were convenient, and the pools, both indoor and outdoor, were fantastic. the bouncy castle and games were perfect for kids, and the gift of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries was a lovely touch to start our weekend.
Nothing negative to say 😊

Our stay at this fabulous hotel was a delight from start to finish. As budget travelers, we greatly appreciated the friendly and accommodating service from Beau, who made our experience easy and enjoyable. The hotel offered everything we needed, including free wi-fi in rooms, on-site car park, 24-hour reception, and 24-hour security. The outdoor and indoor heated swimming pools were a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The air-conditioned rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The hotel's location was ideal for access to local attractions, and the welcoming staff made us feel right at home.
The quality of the mattresses in our room was not up to par. It would have been nicer to have a higher quality mattress for a truly comfortable sleep.
